WHAT IS EVOLUTION?
EVOLUTION IS THE PROCESS OF CHANGE OF LIVING ORGANISMS IN ANY POPULATION ORGANISMS AFFIRM TO FLOURISH OVER TIME.
The classification of the human race is known as Homo Sapiens,
Hominid – the group consisting of all modern and extinct Great Apes (that is, modern humans, chimpanzees, gorillas and orang-utans plus all their immediate ancestors).
Hominin – the group consisting of modern humans, extinct homo species and all our immediate ancestors (including members of the genera Homo, Australopithecus, Paranthropus and Ardipithecus).
Hominoidea- Apes are a branch of Old World tailless anthropoid catarrhine primates native to Africa and Southeast Asia. They are distinguished from other primates by a wider degree of freedom of motion at the shoulder joint as evolved by the influence of brachiation.

Hominid evolution is the process that led the emergence of modern Homo Sapiens, scientific evidence depicts that modern humans have evolved from apelike ancestors, displaying many common physical structures ( Opposable thumbs ), and behaviors. this process has been discovered by examining fossils and other artifacts. Humans, who are primates, have many physical and genetic similarities to another primate species, the apes. this is explained by a common scientific theory that around 6-8 million years ago, apes ( including chimpanzees and gorillas ) and humans had a living common ancestor in Africa. this is where most of human evolution occurred, supported by the fact that early human fossils have been discovered entirely from Africa.
This finding of a common ancestor coincides with the scientific theory stating that 8 million years ago, a great climate change in Africa occurred, splitting the hominins into two distinct populations. one of the populations remained in wet rainforests in western Africa giving rise to modern chimpanzees, while the other population adapted to the progressively dry and open habitats of east and north central Africa, eventually giving rise to modern humans
